Wow! What a place. We had a great opportunity to use the new underwater camera especially in Rangiroa where the clarity and variety of underwater life was astounding. Check out the following photos of fish, turtles, sharks and other creatures.

These following sequence shows "Daydream" entering the pass at Rangiroa. Compared to the size of the lagoon, the passes are quite narrow. The standing waves that you see in these photos are created when the ebbing tide meets an opposing wind which made for a very turbulent few minutes on our way in. These three photos were provided by our friends on the German sailboat "Lucie" who entered the pass just before us.
