Call us crazy but we bought a boat that wasn’t quite complete inside. The main cabin that contained the galley (kitchen) and saloon (living room) had been completely torn out. On the up side this meant that we didn’t have to ‘make do’ with an existing set-up. It allowed us the freedom to design this area to meet our needs. On the down side it meant that we had to postpone our cruising for a bit while completing the interior.
If we had known how much work and time would be required to finish her, we may have passed her by. However, we are pretty much done now and are very happy with our “custom” boat. See below for some “before”, “during” and “after” photos of each area.
